Our Lives and our reality is based off of the desires we carry in our hearts, and basing desires based off of our sexuality is normal when sexual desires are left unfulfilled, and we constantly strive to achieve this satisfaction despite the consequences of the actions we undertake to achieve them.

Have you noticed that even after the sexual desires are fulfilled in one form or another, the desire stems up again seeking release, and as we constantly strive to fulfill this pleasure, our hearts and minds starts becoming perverted. This is why celibacy is important even within the bounds of marriage, because celibacy purifies the self from these desires and what you sought to fulfill in the form of sex and release will transfer to other areas of your life and new desires stem up that are unrelated to the fulfillment of sex, which is why those who are married, often seek new ventures as these sex desires often find release and satisfaction.

Celibacy breaks you out of the path of immediate gratification/fulfillment, hence, naturally ,without a choice, you find new ventures in order to find fulfillment, which in turn breaks you out of the thoughts and desires for sex and puts you on the path of new desires that are based on thoughts that a pure mind brings.

When we say celibacy, we don't mean avoiding marriage or starting a family, nor in repressing sexual desires, but in practicing the state of purity because when we are pure from within, the external world that is polluted by hyper-sexualized aggressive tendencies stops affecting you as much it did when you were caught in its web.

Celibacy is literally cleaning up your mind and heart from these external influences and temptations that seeks to corrupt you out from a state of purity, because only when you are pure in heart, you are closer to the Truth, and only when you are in Truth, can you stop being deceived by the innumerable corruptions of this world!
