The Degradation of Morality and the Collapse of the Western Empire‼️

 ‼️IMPORTANT‼️

Many individuals today view morality as a badge of judgment over their lives, which seeks to control their actions. In the quest for bodily freedoms, many people are abandoning the values and principles that once provided structure and meaning to society.

Throughout history, the rise and fall of several empires were not due to only military action, but also because of these factors:

·        Erosion of ethical and moral standards.

·        Increase in political corruption due to lack of morals.

·        Economic instability due to political corruption.

·        Rise in crime among citizens as corruption erodes law and order.

Example:

The Epstein Files have revealed that many prominent politicians and businessmen from not only America, but also around the world are involved in child trafficking and child prostitution. Governmental agencies who are supposed to be enforcing law and order, are covering up their crimes at the bequest of certain individuals or groups of individuals.

Can Americans trust their children to be safe in schools, or in places of recreation, when the government themselves hide and protects criminals?

Can decay in morality collapse empires?

Even if some individuals uphold strong moral standards, their influence is limited when widespread corruption exists within the larger population. When large groups of the population operate their daily lives without regard for honesty, justice, or accountability, the overall moral fabric of that particular society weakens.

Case study:

In September 2020, a 19-year-old Dalit woman was brutally gang-raped and murdered in Uttar Pradesh, India. Despite national outrage and protests, local authorities suppressed the evidence and cremated the victim’s body without family consent, and yes, this was done to hide evidence of the perpetrator because they belonged to an upper caste, while the Dalit woman who was murdered was a lower caste.

When institutions that are supposed to uphold law and order are themselves criminals, then the policies they will enforce upon the people will also be unethical, and when unethical policies are enforced upon the people, the natural reaction will be social and political unrest.

Decay in morality can collapse empires because it weakens institutions that hold its structure together, and when ethical foundations are lost, internal challenges and external threats will only amplify.

How does the degradation of morality take place?

Many individuals are under the wrong impression that moral decline happens suddenly, but that’s not the reality, because degradation happens over a period of time.

Here’s how it happens:

·        Normalisation of minor ethical lapses.

·        Lack of role models for the younger generations.

·        Influence of negative media and entertainment.

·        Desensitisation and ridiculing societal evils.

Example:

With the rise of social media, young people often see influencers and peers mocking or harassing others online. The normalisation of “minor” online teasing and the lack of intervention from adults or positive role models has escalated to severe cyberbullying. Negative entertainment and viral trends desensitise youth to the real harm caused by such behaviour.

The current generation is witnessing unprecedented levels of moral decline, and as technology advances, new freedoms will emerge that are misaligned with ethical values and principles, and when morality declines, the end result would be the rise of everything that’s immoral.

The decline of Western Values will bring its own collapse

Many individuals often tend to think that life is all about freedom and doing whatever they want with it even if it’s immoral, but as the Epstein Files have surfaced into the open, these same individuals are realising that there are consequences to such actions.

Large groups that are bound to immoral actions usually:

·        Create new crime-ridden ecosystems.

·        Engage or abuse vulnerable individuals.

·        Infiltrate and corrupt organisations.

When this happens, the end result would be lawlessness, and where there is lawlessness, there is anarchy, and anarchy leads to freedom from control over your own empire.
