·        They are using threatening rhetoric against various nations: U.S. officials arrive in India and declare that America will not permit India to develop in the same way China has, implicitly threatening India's sovereignty and signalling an intent to limit its rise.

·        They have withdrawn from various international diplomatic deals: The U.S has abandoned the Strategic Arms Reduction Treaty, throwing decades of nuclear restraint out the window and unleashing a new arms race.

·        They are repeatedly threatening and criticising their own allies: U.S officials berate NATO partners on live television, accusing them of cowardice and incompetence, while threatening to withdraw military protection and destabilise Europe.

·        They are literally killing negotiators and deal-makers: The U.S. assassinated Iranian diplomats who were actively working to negotiate a peace deal to prevent war. In the midst of ongoing negotiations, America killed these diplomats, abruptly ending the talks and triggering the conflict.

The Trump administration’s policies and rhetoric have eroded diplomatic norms and escalated military conflicts in various nations.
