The Shocking Details of the Rape and Sexual HARASSMENT of TCS employees and what it means for you‼️

You haven’t even completed your breakfast. With the tank half empty your brain shouts Hurry! The traffic situation does not look good as usual. You are stressed out already, will you make it on time?

You reach your workplace and you are all smiles to keep up appearances, as you try and maintain your professional decorum. Even though you project confidence and composure, the stress and uncertainty are literal lines on your forehead.

Ok, but that’s still manageable to an extent, because you need the money!

…but what happens when companies and organisations cross the line?

Recently, a female employee at TCS filed a rape complaint with the Maharashtra Police department in India stating that top team leaders at the organisation were harassing and sexually exploiting them, and was she the only one who was facing these threats? No!

Multiple FIR’s have been filed against several TCS employees, which led to an undercover investigation within the organisation to uncover the extent of the crime and identify those responsible.

While TCS has issued a statement asserting that they have a zero-tolerance policy towards sexual-harassment, were all these incidents going unnoticed within the organisation by the corporate?

What does this say about the professionalism within such workspaces which sexually harasses and rapes its employees to extort certain favours that might benefit not only those responsible, but also of those who turned a blind eye within the organisation to these crimes?

Professionalism or rampant abuse?

There are many employees today who are struggling silently from workplace harassment, their ideas stolen, no credit given, disrespected among their peers and then paid an amount where a percentage of that amount is taken by the government.

Many people take the abuse, the disrespect, because they have a family to feed or loans to clear. With the implementation of AI, many people are going to lose these jobs. They are going through so much pressure and stress that most people do not even consider the blood and tears they have to struggle through to make that end of the month salary, and when the end of the month salary is delayed for extended periods of time, many of them are still silent in the expectation that they will be paid!

Workplaces are meant to be safe spaces or atleast that’s what we are told with the flexes and posters of ads placed everywhere within your frontal cortex day in and day out.

·        Forced exploitation.

·        Disrespect of sentiments.

·        Harassment of dignity.

When your workspaces become a cabin for rape as it became in TCS, you are no longer in a safe-space, you are in a mental torture cave that could see you as the next victim.

Horrific!

Are corporate employees the new slaves?

Employees are ready to do their jobs, and there is a basic expectation among them for basic human decency, on-time payment and a reward for excellence, but instead of doing this, employees at TCS were raped for simply doing the jobs assigned to them.

How is that not slavery?

How is that not exploitation?

Do human beings everywhere deserve to be treated inhumanely?

In India, a 19-year-old-girl was raped and the authorities poured petrol over her body and burnt the evidence. Is this what’s coming next within the corporate establishments?

Is there no human dignity left anymore?
