The Shocking Reality of India’s RAPE Crisis That’s Kept Hidden in the Dark‼️
An uncomfortable truth.
Why have they done this?
She was only 9 years old, dearest to her
parents. On her way from school, she was picked up by one of her relatives who
took her home at the behest of her parents, but the relative had his own agenda,
who called up few of his friends and together they took turn to rape and
destroy her tiny body.
It is an uncomfortable truth.
It is the condition of free India that
refuses to take the necessary action or create the necessary laws to not only
protect the children but also its citizens from harm.
The truth wants to be heard.
…but they have kept it hidden.
The supposedly educated blinded by
political rhetoric keep their mouth shut in order protect their political image.
They don’t speak up because they want to one day be leaders of free India, and
they seek to be leaders without serving the people!
…and how is it leadership when they don’t
speak out for their own daughters?
Hiding
the rape crisis through PR management
Are you aware that 90% of rape cases in
India go unreported? The World Health Organisation has stated that only 10% of
rape cases are actually reported, and this 10% are the ninety people who get raped
every single day.
Even with the creation of fast-track
courts for rape victims, more than 43000 cases remain pending in the courts,
and do they ever get justice?
No, they are silenced!
On September 14, 2020, a 19-year-old
woman was brutally assaulted and gang-raped in Hathras, Uttar Pradesh. She died
at a Delhi hospital.
…and?
Her body was forcibly cremated using
petrol by the supposed authorities of the state, and without the consent of the
family.
PR agencies and media outlets on their
payroll swoop in, and suppress the coverage by minimising the frequency of the
story and shifting focus to irrelevant topics. Rather than resolving the
systemic failures, critical voices are harassed, criticised or sidelined by the
very same media.
It is the uncomfortable truth, but to
many only their image is important, and to protect their image, and the image
of their supposed leadership, victims are silenced, rather than arranging the
necessary provisions to provide them JUSTICE.
Official
narratives are not LIVE reality
Projecting a grand image of India on global
forums while burning the raped bodies of India’s daughters and hiding the truth
behind these crimes, is not progress.
It’s a betrayal of the nation’s
conscience which was built from the blood of martyrs.
Here’s what the media is selling the public
today:
·
Dividing the people and poisoning their
minds with hate.
·
Marginalisation of activists and survivors.
·
Blaming the victims for the crimes
committed on them.
·
Elevating the criminals and making them
seem innocent.
Creating an illusion of nationwide
progress while regular people suffer through their lived realities without resolving
their problems, is not progress!
It’s injustice!
