Recently, a video surfaced on social media where a large group of garment industry employees were provided with AI-powered headbands during their daily work routine. These devices tracked their physical movements and job-related skills, which were used to capture detailed data of the entire production process.

The data collected includes:

·        Mapping precise hand and body movements.

·        Mapping the sequence and method of operations.

·        Mapping all the assembly techniques.

While this data can potentially be used to enhance human workflow through targeted training, it is primarily collected to replicate human processes using machines.

Many people are under the wrong impression that only the base-level workers are under threat because of AI, but that’s far from the truth!

Most people are going to laugh at these supposed threats that are on its way, and when these threats take over industries, there would be no more laughter within these companies unless they trained the AI systems to laugh at the human plight.

Sure, this is what’s coming in the future, but how far ahead is unknown, as this will depend on how fast these AI systems are trained and how quickly human beings implement them!

To be blunt, those who assume that their company loves them should understand that they love you only because you are bringing them profits and because you have certain skills, and if the AI can do the same and at a more productive rate, then do you think the company will love you anymore?

Nobody wants to lose their job, but while everyone is clapping and spinning positive narratives about AI, many are losing their livelihoods to it and you could be NEXT!
